They might want to know, and they do, but whether they knew at the time (Butcher certainly didn't by the looks of his interview) is irrelevant.

Well I've been thinking about that. How is it possible for the car on max ballast to see the fastest lap? I don't accept it's just because Sutton is a good driver. Yesterday he got 4 lap times removed for exceeding track limits. Today he said they were unlucky to have their fastest times removed. What rubbish. They were removed because he broke the rules to set them. Pound to a penny the same thing happened in the race. You can get away with it several times in a race before you get warned, which Ash did. Ash always walks a fine line with track limits. He overtook at Donington last year with all four wheels off the track ,(not punished).

I get the feeling TOCA know who they want to win the championship, after a few rounds of the new 3 series it was pegged back, the Infinity has never been pegged back as far as I know and it is clearly the fastest car in the field, maybe it’s because it’s running a TOCA engine perhaps?

Free for all under yellows from now on then. How can they police anything now, regardless of whether Butcher would have eventually passed Ingram or not he still made the overtaking under a waved yellow.

Yes the car definitely has an advantage and it has done all season. I am surprised nothing has apparently been done

Presumably he was in front before they got level with the yellow? I don't feel comfortable with it but it's within the rules.

I certainly wouldn't have made a move there but with the way Butcher reacted in the interview he didn't know there was a yellow so perhaps he wouldn't have made the move either.

Well whys he got all 4 wheels over the grass then? Passing off track and taking someone out yet again. Has he even made 1 pass without contact this season? No doubt it. Should bugger off back to WTCR

Maybe, maybe not. From the camera angle they showed it's impossible to tell what happened. Parfitt could have punted Neate etc.

Hybrid is going well. I make it both races now where it's been the 3rd fastest car.

Reckon it'll be an easy win for Hill in R3... would love to see Smiley on the podium.

could do with a DNF for Sutton because the title race has been a complete non-event this season

Mind you, the only time he hits trouble all his rivals do as well.

Yep he had a bad weekend at Oulton Park but so did Ingram. Could easily happen though. He's had a good run of luck this season (as he did last season) but that won't last for ever
