A man of experience like yourself should have realised that. You do that en-route to the incident with the brush held by your ... ar .. and don't forget to take a bottle. You could lean on that to do the report or strap the flag to it if it's not needed.
The possibilities are endless.

I normally camp! Just as there is a few of us, it was as cheap to get a hotel. Don't worry i will be back to camping at Oulton Park Touring Cars! Im there to support the Northern Saloons and Sports Car championship as my driver is out racing, so be nice to car number 1 in class D please

Also after the drive across we have got i'd like a comfy bed!

I might be able to make this meeting now that my 6 week long car electrical problem has been solved (touch wood ).

Won't know until Friday afternoon and am not sure if I can do the Sunday as well, but I'm sure they'll let me in without tickets on Friday evening as long as I'm rotund and wearing orange - well they have every other time anyway.

What is this 'marshal's deluxe accommodation' I'm hearing about - is this just a name for the new boxes or the cellar accommodation below the same?

Anyway, hope to see some of you on Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

Being serious for once, on the manning list there are 15 of us for Saturday, and by my reckoning there are 11 flag points on the coastal circuit. Is it safe to run a meeting with so few marshals? As Mike says, do you call an incident in, flag it, or attend it?

Its an office that Blue beard and myself kip in when we are at Anglesey, perks of knowing the Operations manager! If you camp you'll be nearer the bar (by about 15ft! )

For anyone else that wants to marshal this meeting, especially Saturday, just turn up at the gate with your orange grow bags on and you'll be made more than welcome!!

Get the beers cooling, I'm on my way over in my recently fixed M5 - now with fully working brakes, suspension, alternator, water pump, starter motor, etc. Air con is buggered though
