He says he doesn’t like ovals. He could walk in to any GT program but seemed subdued with it all at the 12hr.

Given the exciting questions being put to the driver panel, was it really a bad thing that Mr Van Gisbergen remained schtum?

Can't help but feel SVG is really a whimsical kid who often comes across as lacking a lot of respect for anyone. Quite sad but that seems true. He's an awesome driver but lacks class in my opinion.

In Friday nights press conference Here Svg discussed various aspects of the Gen3 car and how some of the stated aims of the car don’t seem to have been met, and that it is excessively hot inside, and difficult to get in and out of.

Mr Kostecki made similar complaints.

Some of the camera shots on the grid and during Larkham's pre race videos really emphasize the cramped cockpit conditions which have been known for some considerable length of time so no great surprise that Red Bull had already addressed the problem with the additional helmet cooling. According to Jamie Whincup, Adrian Burgess approved the system but subsequently denied that he had given it the nod so it comes down to who you believe, what a shambles! I've seen drivers pulled out in a state of collapse at le Mans before the cooling was introduced, this issue should have been addressed long ago.
SVG and co won R1 fairly on the track and with a slight infringement which could be interpreted either way drove a cracking race for the win in R2 from a less than ideal grid position, you could argue that he nudged Mostert wide and be penalised accordingly but that doesn't detract from his overall driving skills.

Mostert’s criticism was at least constructive, svg just acted like a sulky teenager all weekend, similar to how he seemed at the 12 hour

Need more forward vision then shrink the size of the top of screen advertising banner and lift the drivers seat up a bit..

He was lucky not to get a penalty in R2 as well.

The only teams that complained about the cars being hot, are using the T8 supplied cooling systems.

Everyone using the dry ice system, said there was no complaints from the drivers.

Surely not for that bump and run. I thought they had softened on that last year etc. Nothing in that IMHO
