A1GP on TV 06/07
According to Pitpass, negotiations are ongoing concerning A1's TV deals for the coming season. RTL7 (Holland) and TV3 (NZ) have signed up for another year, and in the UK Sky have agreed to permit delayed terrestrial coverage.
Hopefully ITV or the Beeb will pick up a highlights package now there is no exclusive clause in Sky's contract. |

I've heard it may be the BBC. If it is only highlights this will be the better channel as the programme won't be filled with adverts... so more time for A1 watching!

re UK coverage
Great news if that's true for all concerned really. Non-Sky people finally get to watch, BBC get to show more motor racing and Sky will probably pick up some extra viewers to the live shows as a result. Hope this comes off. |
