All right, I stand corrected. They were able to get their first win this year, in convincing fashion. Congrats to TRD, Juan, TCGR, and all the teams who had to develop the thing for however many years (AAR, PPI, Gordon, DP). But with the road course season starting up, I think we won't be hearing as much form them.

Well done, im starting to like the kid, he seems to have the odds against him, but is out there making a winner out of the toyota. I think the last 2 weekends have erased the memories of the Gold Coast last when he stacked it right in front of me (what a twit)...
Hmm...i hope he does stick it to them in the road courses...i wouldnt put anything past him... |

What happened to Gil
I had to work and just found out he sank to 12th and got one lowly point. What'd he do wrong this time?

They must have been using the same system the F1 boys used at Monaco.

Gil came in with about 15 to go or so for a splash (and i mean splash, very short stop), which was realt strange, cause there was a caution maybe 15 laps earlier, and you'd think if there had any doubts on fuel they would've come in then. They were getting the worst milegae of anyone it seemed, always the first to pit. Too bad

Thanks. I am sure he loses most of his races in the pits. He seems to have the most appalling pit crews.

Not only the crew, but strategy. Liike LB for example. He was leading, but was like the first to come in. HELLO? It would have been better to spend as much time clear of trafic as possible, then pit, perhaps waiting for a yellow. Got snakebit at either Rio or Motegi (can't remember) when they pitted early and a yellow came out, catching them a lap down. The Captian really needs some better strategy.

He needs to talk to Derrick Walker about it. But their pit crew at Walker was a disgrace.
Anyway now we are on road courses and he is very very good on the road couraes ... |
