Links needed for national S2000

Hey, I would be very happy, if someone had links for the major national S2000 series in Europe, that means Sweden, Italy, Spain, Denmark...etc.

It hasn´t be necessary in english, but many pictures and startlists would be helpful.

I´m working on touring car mod for a small arcade racing game called "GeneRally"
and after I finished WTCC I will make the national series, but only for the BTCC I could find a good site on google.

Thank you very much for helping!!

Finnish championship is officially called Super2000 Race.

www.super2000race.fi Site is only in Finnish and doesn't contain much information. Entrylist for 2005 isn't released yet. For pictures I prefer racingimages.fi (also in English).

Yep. But isn't there any 407 in DTC? I think there'll be one in STCC but it's developped by Peugeot Sport wich is Danish...

Well sort of.... In Denmark we still have some "ghosts" fra the old "Pro-Am" rulebook which means that our rideheigt is 60mm S2000 is 80mm. Otherwise the rules are the same, our car could run in the WTCC without any changes(other than rideheight).

Peugeot Sport Enginering is building a 407 for Johan Stureson for the STCC series(and perhaps for WTCC???), and they had the first test this week at Anderstorp in Sweden.

As you can see there are a lot of Peugeots, the Peugeot Sport is running the 5-door model and the Carlsen BP Motorsport is running a 307cc, the rest are running the 3-door model.

The team have changed its name for this season, and is now known as "Team Den Blå Avis", running 3 drivers in 2005:
7 René Rasmussen, Team Den Blå Avis, Toyota Corolla (I)
8 Henrik Lundgaard, Team Den Blå Avis, Toyota Corolla
23 Jan Magnussen, Team Den Blå Avis, Toyota Corolla

And the season the cars vil look like this:

Special rules in Denmark again. To be independent, the driver should not be professional or the team not receiving support by the importer...
-so Magnussen and Lundgaard are profs and therefore not independent.

The team is not officially supportet by Toyota this year.

Thank you very much for your help!

But aren´t there any sites for the championships in Spain and Italy?
A site with good photos of the STCC would be great, too!

It could be a problem at this time, because the first STCC race this year is more than a month away. The premier round is to take place May 22nd.

Thanks for the cool pics Frederich. Does the series look a bit more colourful (paint scheme wise) than the WTCC?

The official site for Italian Superturismo is:

http://www.acisportitalia.it/ACISpor...r?OpenFrameset

but it's not a great site

News on:

http://www.italiaracing.net/news_sup...UPERPRODUZIONE

For the 2004 season there is also http://www.superproduzione.it/
but it has got anything on 2005 season, or Super2000 cars and the last news is dated May 29th...In the past it was very good, bu now...
