Will it be raced in historic touring cars? Would love to see one racing in the flesh.
They're Germans... they don't like losing, even though they're good at it (don't mention the war/s)

It won't race, too special. There's some interest from official sources to maybe do some display stuff with it.

Just got the engine back over xmas, from an ex team guy in Europe. So, just a few final bits to arrive and it might be running in a month or 3.

No pics.

Why does the owner think his car is "too special" to race? Could he not run in the Gp.A and Gp.C category? There is a whole field of super expensive/rare/collectable cars in that class that the owners are happy to get out and race and let others enjoy.

I own an ex-works DTM M3 that would have raced against your Audi in 92. Although I certainly cannot drive it as well as Emanuelle Pirro once did, I still view it as a privelege to own such a piece of motorsport history. I am more than happy to share in the enjoyment of it and getting it out to race meetings, and I do get a lot of comments from people who love the engine noise as it shifts gear at over 9000rpm Oh, I nearly forgot to mention, it is rather a lot of fun to drive too

pics please!

still waiting on some V8 race lap records to be broken, time to look for this weekend is 0:51.4713.

m00neelee specificly states that "Fastest race lap to date I believe is Chris Gilmour in a Dallara F307 at 2.04.61."

Nathan Morcom did the 2:03:23 in qualifying, so therefore you cannot "now change that to Nathan Morcom's Dallara F307 with a time of 2:03:23"

Also this is from the AA race report;

"Damp conditions and Safety Cars conspired to thwart a shot at a new Mt Panorama outright lap record on March 30-31, as Nathan Morcom won the opening round of the Formula 3 Australian Drivers Championship at the Bathurst Motor Festival.

Morcom and his Dallara F307 put in a stunning 2:03:2396 qualifying lap to secure pole and set the scene for a new benchmark, however very few race laps in race one and a wet race two meant that Chris Gilmour's 2:04.6187 from last year would remain intact

yeah Button went 1:48 and Lowndes was only 1 sec off his time, not bad aye for a 1st timer aye, but I don't think we can include his time cause as one five said it wasn't officially timed, and also was a demo run and not part of a race meeting aswell.
