it was not the intention.

there is a break between races for pit stops.

But history has suggested things can nchange mid season.

But i am hopeful they wont

Sounds like we'll need more than an excel spreadsheet to work out who wins all of this.

Is there a race meeting on somewhere!

Are HRT finally getting it together or is the relative lack of handling required at SP the reason they are near the front.

Symmons Plains is basically 2 long drag strips isnt it? The engines from InnoV8 must be doing some serious cooking

What is wrong at DJR, seriously? They are running what is practically an FPR car but are a second slower around a 53 second lap.. I hope they were running their setup tyres or something.

Not to mention that their cars have had essentially no testing, and both drivers I believe are rookies at Tasmania (at least in a V8, in the case of Blanchard).

Precisely the reason I rarely post anymore. It all drives people away from the forum and goes unchecked. Some people are just waiting to try to cut down your opinions or attempt to make you look stupid and then digress into a long-winded meaningless conversation. It's a real shame.

On topic, after the practice sessions I'm pretty happy that it doesn't look like this year will be another Whincup whitewash, but would prefer it if the other brands had at least one team each that could be consistently competitive. I'm trying to generate interest in myself to see who can come out on top between the 888-equipped Holden teams, even if it's not what I would prefer.

Forget it. Don't know about anywhere else, but bere in Melbourne, Symmons will be lucky to register any ratings. All the build up here has been in anticipation of the Carlton/Collingwood would clash on sunday afternoon. There is no chance of anyone here giving the slightest attention to it. The truth is, even I'm more worried about that game and would watch it instead of the V8s. However, I'll be at PI for the Vic state round.

Go Blues!!!

Watching online, the commentators sound like Skaife and Crompton in the words they're using, but the tone is an octave lower than normal?! Anyone else getting this? Very strange.

No, their style is the same as the normal 3, and they've also referred to each other by name now.

Or maybe V8SC TV replaced them with robots?
