Toyota Racing Series (New Zealand)

This very interesting summer championship in New Zealand started last weekend. Races can be watched at Motorsport.tv.
Sixteen nationalities represented in the driver's roster. A new car with 270bhp compared to 200bhp that had last season.

1) Highlands 17/1-19/1
2) Teretonga 24/1-26/1
3) Hampton Downs 31/1-2/2
4) Pukekohe 7/2-9/2
5) Manfeild 14/2-16/2

Liam Lawson (2019 champion) got two wins and is leading the championship, Yuki Tsunoda (Red Bull) won the other race.

JD Media should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
What about Lawson and Redbull, is he still on the program? Has got the RB helmet but nothing on the car... Good to see they have a healthy grid with the new car btw!

Two races to go and only 4 points between Lawson and Fraga. It will be interesting.
It was a pity Colapinto couldn't take advantage of the pole. Still archiving great results.

He’s still a part of the RB junior team.

These results should start to turn some heads...is he confirmed anywhere for 2020?

Fraga won the championship over Lawson. Colapinto finished third closing the championship with 6 consecutive podiums and got the rookie title.

So the Toyota Racing Series, F3 Asia and W Series all use the same Tatuus chassis.

Just thought it would be nice for the Toyota Racing Series to be on the support bill of the Australian Grand Prix in November 2021, then maybe hold another race in Victoria or NSW in December, before starting its 2022 season in NZ.

And the Formula Regional / Formula Renault Eurocup. And a lot of the F4 series worldwide and the MSV ‘F3’ use the pre-halo version of the same car.
