2004 Sandown 500 - Weather

Friday
Fine although cloudy for much of the day with a fresh northerly wind. Rain
developing late in the afternoon along with a cold gusty west to southwesterly
change.

Max 17

Suburban Temperatures

Laverton Max 17 Yarra Glen Max 16
Tullamarine Max 17 Mt Dandenong Max 13
Watsonia Max 17 Scoresby Max 17
Frankston Max 16 Geelong Max 17

Saturday
Showers. Local hail. Snow developing on the nearby hills. Gusty southwesterly
wind. Min 7 Max 12

Sunday
A few showers. Min 4 Max 15

I think we might be very very lucky & get away with a dry race... or at the very most a few very light showers!!

It has shown up real skill all weekend, including two top 10 finishes (and an 11th) for David Thexton in CC!.
