Historic Motorsport Show

Thanks to all of you that came to see me on the 750MC stand & said 'Hi' .
I thought the content of the show was the best ever, can't say the same for the number of visitors to the stand though. Friday was great, yesterday & today not so.
Spent more than I bargained for (probably bought a race car!)

Well, at least you'll know all the excuses if you're up before the Clerk!

What are you thinking of scaring us with?

What do you mean "probably"? Surely you either have or haven't bought one?

I didn't come and say hello 'cos I was at Silverstone.

I expecially liked the guy in the Ford Sierra who looked as though he'd got a little lost on the way to the supermarket and ended up on a race track with loads of Porsches, Jag, TVRs, BMWs etc. He was running 3rd / 4th until his engine blew up.

I wonder what he told his missus when he got back home without the shopping.

A factory prepared Porsche 924 Turbo.
The reason I said probably is, I haven't seen the car yet & need to get the nod from my mechanic.

Haven't you just got rid of a Porsche?

Didn't you find you were rather ... taller ... than the average German?

Yes but the 911 was a road going version, this is race prepared, so you can have the seat as low & far back as you like.

well that was what the car raced in before, I'm still waiting for some pictures from the owner, slightly concerned about the rebuild costs.
