Cinghio44 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
TCR Europe 2021

I think it's time to open the thread for the TCR Europe new season

2021 TCR Europe calendar
07/09 May - Slovakia Ring
28/30 May - Circuit Paul Ricard, Le Castellet
18/20 June - Circuit Zandvoort
29/31 July - Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
3/5 September – Nürburgring
24/26 September - Monza ENI Circuit
8/10 October - Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

Still early for the start of the season but the're already some quality entries...

Brutal Fish is back with 3 Civic for youngsters Jack Young, Isidro Callejas e team boss Martin Ryba. Two other Civic will be entered by PSS Racing for Franco Girolami (2018 V6 Top Race champion in Argentina) and Viktor Davidovski. A new entry in the name of Janik Motorsport will field 2 Hyundai i30 for Mat'o Homola and new comer Jachym Galas (he is part of Hyunda Customer Junior programme). Also Fernando Navarrete will appear in some round with his Peugeot 308 TCR.

Sounds already intersting

A switch to Hankook tyres, too.

Stian Paulsen is potentially coming back. Unless he fancies TCR Denmark?

Paulsen back in TCR Europe would be great.
Any more info on his plans for TCR Danmark?

I can see why he may have lost interest in doing TCR Europe at least. Being on the road for a large chunk of the year, and still trying to earn a crust, and then copping the rough end of the pineapple on more than a few occasions in the stewards office will do that to you though.

I am not sure he has lost interest but it costs a lot of money and time.

Their cars were owned by the Fugel family too, I believe. They were placed on the market recently. Presumably to cover the new NSX GT3 in the stable.

Baert confirmed for the family team- basically it was obvious after Magnus stayed in WTCR.
https://www.touringcartimes.com/2021...mtoyou-racing/

Now in the case of the two Halders, they said WTCR is their aim for this year, which seems more and more unlikely by this information.

For me the biggest question is Bennani, with 3 Comtoyou cars already confirmed. And also if Target want to stay in TCR Europe too with the switch of the Backmans to WTCR and confirming Baldan's TCR Italy/part WTCR program.

The Loeb team has two car free for now... so we could easily see two more good drivers there

What do you mean by this? Do they, besides Langeveld en Jelmini, enter two more cars?

It seems like Langeveld spoilered his second team mate before the announcement
If you look at his Instagram post, you see on the Elantra near his car the colours and name of Bennani.

So one name sorted for SLR

And Serbiaring wrote that Taoufik is tipped for the 4th car.

I think it was easily predictable given the fact that Comyotou has empty slots for other drivers

It's a great deal for the Maroccan drivers and the new Elantra seems stunning! And should be also very fast ...
