Its a shame more of the TCR cars aren't taking part in the Silverstone 24H in two weeks...

I wonder who will be driving for West Coast this season?

Dependant on that, I'd fancy a wager on Nash to take the title.

That's awesome, and between the lines I read some additional factory involvement as well?

Yes ''The cars are being built at the FRD workshop in Colorado, USA, where the current work is focused on a new Xtrac gearbox and a two-litre turbo engine developed by Ford Performance in Dearborn, Michigan.''

Oriola has been linked to Opel since Macau, and now he stays with Bamboo while his brother will run the Astra, funny

Wasn't FRD from Hong Kong? However, it's good to have a revised Focus on the grid.

Yes FRD is from Hong Kong, but i think that Robb Holland team is from Colorado and he said that he will help FRD in developing the Focus.
From TCT
''Holland’s team Rotek Racing is working with Hong Kong-based FRD Sports, which have taken over the development of the Ford Focus ST from Onyx Race Engineering for next season, which may lead to a full programme in TCR, but says his primary focus is on a full-time return to the British Touring Car Championship next year.''

WestCoast Racing returns to the TCR International Series with a trio of Honda Civic TCR cars and a bolstered driver line-up made up of Gianni Morbidelli, Aku Pellinen and Kevin Gleason.

An interesting trio. Pellinen will have a great opportunity after many years in lower categories.

Forza Gianni!

Question: which is cheaper between ETCC and TCR International? Why should a team prefer ETCC instead of TCR International?

Etcc has only 6 rounds and all in Europe, so for sure it's cheaper.
Then the line up is formed by inexperienced young drivers or drivers with low budgets i think so i guess it's easier to have success in this championship

I'm wondering how many cars we'll end up with for the first couple of races. I'd be surprised to see more than 20, given how little time there's left between now and Bahrain and the relatively small number of announced cars.

It almost begins to look like the International Series is becoming a victim of TCR's success in regional and national series.

I really expect at least 1 Alfa on the grid in Bahrain, a few more Seats, Hondas, Opels and another Top Run Subaru. So I think we can expect 25 cars on the grid. I have faith in Lotti, he'll make it work. Most of the time in Touring Car racing, in the last week before the first race we hear a lot of news about the entries anyway.

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised!

That's 19 cars for Bahrain, then? I had expected a good deal less somehow...

Given that Peugeot took part in the Valencia test, I'd say they'd be one of them, certainly. Pulling another two out of thin air, I'd say Renault & Toyota.

I'm still believing that the Kia teaser which was released bij Kia Austria is for a TCR car. So I'd say Peugeot, Kia and Renault.
