GPL questions

Thinking about getting Grand Prix legends but need to know a few things first.

Is it compatable with Windows Xp?
Will it use lots of memory on my pc and slow it down?
Do i have to get a joy pad? If so what to you recommend?

I don't use my Pc for games as i try and keep as much memory free as possible.

I got it yesterday, and it patches itself for XP. You can use a keyboard if you want, but it only lets you use numbers on mine. Not sure about memory, my computer is quiet powerful, just give it a try. It is wicked, I'm addicted already. Now, if only I was any good...

It does run in Windows XP but you might need the all in one patch found at GPL Track Database.It
is like no other sim and you will be advised to not drive fast at the onset or you will spin very often.
There are a number of forums for GPL and i am sure we here can answer must of your questions.

Works fine on my XP, and I think that's without the all-in-1 patch. It automatically patches for XP when you close the installation once it's finished, on the SoldOut version anyway.

The basic game shouldn't take up too much room, it's the addon tracks, graphics updates and replays that do. Stick to the basic stuff and you should be fine.

Try this, from our very own Dani Filth. Pop the unrarred .cfg file into your player file, and there you have it - easier controls!

Accelerate - a
Brake - z
Steer Left - ,
Steer Right - .
Shift Up - s
Shift Down - x
