Guilty pleasures: Nine Rovers you probably shouldn’t want to own

On December 9th the Daily Telegraph's Lifestyle Cars published this interesting article online.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/news...want-to-own-b/

and my 1990 Rover Metro GTi 16 valve single point injection was photographed by someone at Brookland's Austin/Rover Day in 2013 and I did not even know that the image was going to be used until a member of the "Metro Owners Club" told me ...

Metro GTI cars were rather underrated. My dad had a lovely example about the time I passed my test. He purchased that and I had a 1.0 Metro Mk2 as my first car. No jealously (ever) when they were parked side by side. Honest lol.

Strangely enough saw an identical example to my first car a couple of years ago and purchased it as a novelty to have in the garage. I know they get a lot of flack but it puts a smile on my face each time I look at it. Memories of my distant youth.
