The problem with acid dipping is they don't get rid of all the traces so the body continues to corrode, he's now got a dehumidifier running 24/7 to try and keep the moisture content of his garage down.

TeenTop should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Depending on the relevant parts of classic car. Sometimes it's 2000$ but sometimes it's 40 000$.Always differently. I know a website http://en.avtoclassika.com/ . There are many part's of classic car. Different prices...Find the right part and will see the price..

I spoke with dtype38 on Sunday and it appears he's had an attack of common sense and sold the car, best result imho just a shame he took a big hit on what he was offered when it was road going.

classic car restoration

Classic car market is very healthy today, with some fairly common cars. As you said you sell your car with less than you buy. Better go for restoration project. You will find classic car restoration center in your nearby area. This cost you more, but at last you benefit more.

That's tough. I've heard a car is worth what someone wants to pay for it. Williams Group Auto in Abilene, TX has a 1967 Chevy Nova SS for sale at $17,995. It looks in great condition, not sure if there has been any restoration work done to it. The pictures show beautiful gray interior. Y'all should check it out if interested at www.williamsgroupauto.com.
Cheers!

May prove best for his sanity too!

It could have been worce, spending cubic money on a restoration then finding that the "market" says "so what? don't care how much has been spent on it!?" the car is worth £4.32!

What anyone spends on restoration is often neither here nor there when it comes to selling (too many cost variables)...however, condition does help with selling price...except in a limited "market" where your multi-thousand pound/dollar etc resto finished in your favourite candy apple red paint raises the noses of the purists and others in the market!
