Don't think they allow fuel injection in Minicross though

Thing with rallycross though, it's huge fun but everything gets a real pounding. Everything used to break off my rallycross Mini, I even bent the rear subframe once?

Some good Minicross cars for sale at the mo though

Robert Morris has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
The good news is Chris still has some purple paint plus he has just purchased a new paint mixing scheme this week. Only a few days and we will know wether a new mig will be born or a 16 valve!

Our car is an ex minicrosser and we toyed with racing but decided against it after a test day at Blyton. Everyone we spoke to had too many stories of rolls, shunts and destruction in general so we decided it was not for us and went sprinting where there's (usually) no one to crash into!

Tris, I think you asked a question a few pages about rev counters. We moved to an SPA unit this year, combined with an Omex rev limiter:

http://www.spa-uk.co.uk/design/sequentialshiftlight.asp
http://www.omextechnology.co.uk/Revl...rlcclubman.htm

I know there were some issues getting the two to work together and we've had problems with the Omex unit which has had to go back for repairs twice now so not sure it would be a solid recomendation from us but sure Dad could answer any questions you have on the setup.

Chris

I dont know him just heard about that he is very quick. Was there a mighty mini championship called extreme ? I think MIG knows the spec.

He is on the entry list for the tin top race on sun class e with a 1380 plus 13" rubber. Probly make me look slow.

Jules has a very rapid 1380cc Mini on 13" wheels and yes he is very quick. If he did a full season of DMN Iam sure he would be a front runner for the class E title.A very professional, comited driver and a nice bloke.
Its a shame the Xtreme mighty mini championship never took off I did a couple of rounds but I think that not many Mini drivers wanted to put their reputations/egos on the line a few years ago.

I will say now Dave that minicross is not cheap if you want to play at the sharp end.
I paid 4 k for my engine (not Bill) and that wasnt near the front.
And it soon wears when your well preped car gets mullered every meeting.
In the end i got so annoyed with certain drivers that i put "no more mr nice guy" accross the front of my mini and got pay back!
You ask Scott Lawson why he left, you will get simular story.
