I don't think Bomarito is underrated, he did a pretty good job driving the Speedsource Mazda RX-8 in grand am these past few years

This got started when Pruett's article in Racer Mag got published that Mosport has been little talked about as far as getting a USCR date. However, with the investment that Fellows and co have made to the track, it would be stupid of USCR to skip town...that is unless the WEC want a date at Mosport (the rumored second NA round that's been rumored for next year's schedule, which might expand to 10 races), but I don't see a WEC race at Mosport anytime soon. I'll believe that when I see it.

Ron Fellows says that Mosport has about a 50-50 chance of staying for next year. I would guess that they're keeping it, since they probably won't go to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve nor Toronto (to have a race in Canada).

Does the race start at noon ET? Doesn't come on TV (and by extension non-ESPN3 stream) until 1PM.

I'm not seeing the stream here in Canada - quali was fine, as the other races have been. Can you ping me a link? Doesn't seem to be loading on the usual page.

I am positively shocked that the ESPN3 stream crapped out minutes before the green flag. Just shocked. When has anything like this ever happened before?

Now one of the trolls on here stated that NASCAR now has a controlling interest of Mosport.

Is this true?

The only thing I could find was Fellows and 2 other people; none of whom are associated with NASCAR as far as I know.

Here is exactly why ALMS ultimately failed: best racing on the planet and management was too incompetent to bring it to the hordes of eager fans.

That, turning down naming rights dollars from Disney (Hello! Parent company of ESPN and ABC!) and Panoz should have used his company to built affordable Prototype chassis for privateers to run.

Not true. NASCAR owns no piece of Canadian Tire Motorsport Park née Mosport.

The TRG GTC car got knocked off the track by a PC going into 3. Jeremy Shaw naturally blamed the Porsche.

Stop and hold for 60 for the 18 PC car.
