You are all wrong, the wing has to be that sturdy to carry all the missile launchers that are suppossed to be installed there...

It is a correct usage that the Datsun pickup truck carries the bench.

Much more about the future of Nissan in Motorsports (including the GT3) here:
http://www.revistascratch.com/circui...imos-anos-5005 Sorry, I write it in spanish... may be I can put a translated version latter on. All this info is from JRM and Nissan Spain, talked during the GT1 and GT3 in Navarra last weekend |

Now all we need is a GTE version of it.
Cheers |

Great looking Datsun, but would love to see the car with a different rear wing. Now hopefully this renders their GT1 operation useless (some may argue it already is) and Sumo will run this car in races like the Spa and Nurburgring 24h.

You sure you don't meant to say: Now hopefully this means their GT1 operation will continue and Sumo can build this car for many others to run in races like the Spa and Nurburgring 24h.

GT1 and 3 will be the same thing soon anyway so there's a reason to build both versions am I correct?

It would be nice if Nissan would build a GTE version, and take it to the Le Mans 24.
Maybe soemday... |

with some derogation maybe nissan could also use the VK56 of fia gt1 (or will use the 45).... always if nismo will build a gte GT-R (maybe is just required a downgrade of actual GT1 car; like the one that matech could do for her ford GT1 if someone would buy the matech sport team in december 2010)

There is a rumor that the 2012 quota sales number of GTR GT3 for Japan is five cars.

I'd say with them already having 4 GT1 GTRs along with the parts supply they'll do what the Lambo GT1 teams will do and keep the GT1 car for its aero advantage.

According to AUTOSPORT (print edition),
The sales objectives of Nissan of the GT3 spec GTR in 2012 will be 10 cars in the world. 5 cars for Japanese customers, 5 cars for overseas customers. The official announcement of the car will be made in the NISMO festival (on Dec 4). |

Expect a Japanese team in Super Taikyu or Super GT (Now that GT3 cars are accepted there) will get one of those. Hasemi Racing is a Nissan stalwart and gave current Super GT GT500 Champion Yanagida his GT300 crown last year. This year they took a leave, replaced by MOLA Engineering who as all you guys know moved up from GT300.
I hope to see them back with the GT3 GT-R, or... a Super GT-spec 370Z. Samurai-san, you got any updates on Hasemi? |

Samurai-san posted in another thread that Hasemi Sport, Yanagida's former team will get a GT-R GT3 for GT300 for next year.
So that's one in Japan. |

There was no announcement of GT3-GTR in today's NISMO festival.
According to Sports-carracing.net, JR motorsport says that there is no announcement of GT3-GTR before the year end. http://www.sports-carracing.net/2011...tm#111204news1 |

Samurai-san, maybe it will happen at the Tokyo Auto Salon. But is Hasemi Sport coming back next year?
