Who?
How?
By How Far?

What will the new boys do?

Can Ford get to the front & stay there?

Did 888 find their magic race strategy book? Or did it get 'Monstered'

Not long now...

FPR have been strong here in recent years.

Although, it's hard to ignore the more recent form of Tekno, BJR and GRM.

The Redbull cars will figure in the results somewhere.

I think FPR will be strong here.Throw in the Tekno boys, Fabs, Brighty and team 888 and we could potentially have a great meeting.
Rusty might be the wildcard ?

Is there compulsory pitstops in the two Sunday races?

How will the 60/60 format play out?

dunno about the pitstops, but the first 60km is a non points race, and the positions will result their placings on the grid for the 2nd 60km points race.

peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
my understandings is no pit stops are required

and from memory they were keeping a double file rolling start for the 2nd race only

The first half starting position in Super Sprints will be the order of qualifying, with the second half order based on position at half time.

Points and podium will be awarded after the second half. In addition the second half of these races will begin with a side by side rolling start where the lead drivers must only accelerate in a designated zone past the start-finish line.
From Here... NB. Also includes full 'on'track' programme.

So 25 laps plus 25 laps plus 42 laps plus 42 laps.
134 laps at 2.4km
Put down the four, carry the 1
That makes...errrm....321km

So where does the "365" come from.

Maybe they're count the amount of qualifying laps a car could potentially do?

If Microsoft is involved in the event can we expect lots of 'crashes'?

It is still a very good sign that V8SA has signed a mega-company like Microsoft to the series as a round sponsor.

Might silence a few doomsdayers... but I doubt it..

Yes, jokes aside, it's very prestigious brand to have involved. I'm sure Mercedes-Benz would be happy, if Mercedes-Benz were to be officially involved...

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a suspicious 'crash' if a Ford happened to be leading from the 'born to rule' Holden teams.

By the way, is Holden's Cameron McConville the Driving Standards Observer?

Anyway, at least the weekend should be virus free thanks to the Norton Nissans, although on second thoughts, Microsoft has its own free Security Essentials antivirus software for its users, so Norton is not required any more.
