and I'm not convinced she's THAT quick. Could be Barbara Armstrong. I don't think she's been doing anything else this year.

It could be Bruce Jouanny - Similar build and right nationality - however all the clues point to Minissian...

Latest news---- Son in law works for LOTUS arrived friday night and asked me who stig was. He had been to lotus last week for this weeks top-gear and was driven out to the test track in car with dark window, climbed out wearing helmet and did'nt take it off till back in dark car.

From the vicar from last nights show (who also competes in our sprint series)... he reckons Perry McCarthy.

He's english, short, with some F1 and Le Mans experience. all makes sense

It would certainly fit in with his sense of humour. Given Ian's comments though, I reckon it must be a pro driver doing it without the knowledge of his team / sponsors.

Having watched Top Gear last night (Sunday) it was said that Stig had a French accent, whether it was real or not was the subject of some discussion. However, having watched Motors TV on Sky yesterday, they showed the highlights of the Ascar season and guess what, Nicholas Minnassian has Top Gear sponsorship on the rear wing of his car. Now, do you think the two are connected?

I think Stig will turn out either to be a woman or more likey a very young kart driver in the mould of Lewis Hamilton.

Why is it on ten-tenths that the use of the word "fac"t is never backed up with anything and is normally a fair indication of what isn't fact!

Come on Kid, show me that my doubts are wrong!
