Surely not
Someone from his camp (not him) voiced some allegations that meant they were no longer welcome at the racetrack with the team. Coincides with a drop in form, and the lack of that person in the garage.

The allegations (baseless, from what I've heard) meant that DR driving at Erebus wasn't going to happen again.

Quite, IIRC Dean Canto was reported to have signed a 10 year deal with Briggs Motorsport, but was all over after a year.

Yes, per this Australian Financial Review article from 1996, although it ran for a few years before things went pear shaped.

so going by this, Tickford to three cars, Blanchard's would have to brought the two mustangs of Mundy, Still have one rec, satellite out of tickford, ?
Boost want a two car team, so if supercheap go , there is one car, and truck assist would have to go as well. That leaves Monster with Cam.

Mundy's rec is of to Brad Jones , who gets the drive ?

Reynolds Fnose, Betty has to sort the team out , not happy campers there at the moment

Kelly's may surprise a few and pluck a driver to take over ricks car , as there is a few young guys , waiting around to do another super 2 or co drive .

it's not over yet , just follow Auto fiction

The buzzards are circling over Erebus, waiting for the mass exodus.

There's a fair chance Mr Ryan may take his #99 REC and park it elsewhere. Either as a new start-up team, or linking in somewhere else.

Mr Boost is in the market for a REC himself, not out of the realm for there to be a Boost/Erebus thing. As for driver options, I suspect there are many.

My understanding is that its a thing that has been bubbling away for some time, and subsequently boiled over around Townsville.

Banning Ms Lew-Fatt from anything to do with the team, is thought to be pulling rank. However, this seems to have upset the driver fiancé somewhat, to the point of picking apart the contract in search of a new home.

Except he only owns 50%, presumably Betty was smart enough to retain 50.1% meaning that she has the ultimate say.

After watching the Erebus Series on Fox and the whole love and family race team atmosphere its definitely turned into a ship show !!!!!

Mind you, the 2 young guns in waiting are no slouches and great persona, which is what we need in our sport right now. !!!!

Why does MJ need to drive if he doesn't have a sponsor? Jones Jr seems a nice fellow but doesn't exactly seem a superstar.

Rick retiring is a strange one for me. Sponsorship seemed to be strong with Castrol and Ned, improving with the Mustang...time for a pay driver? Covid pinch on the family business?

If Castrol wants to go to Tickford, then the Kelly's snare the Penrite $$ and the attached Reynolds to plug the financial hole. In effect forcing Rick down the co-driver route.

To be fair he improved a lot in the back end of 2020. His qualifying alone got a lot better.

So , if Blanchard's run a team out of box hill, they need to link with someone,
I can assure you Cooldrive as a Business is not cash happy as Nappa(Repco)
Supercheap , 'Who can sponsor teams , Cooldrive wanted to go Mustang in 2019, but where stuck with contractual obligations.

They want a mustang , as a part of there business promotion, aftermarket parts , etc, they also have a deal to supply a certain oil brand in Aust . They ran this on a commodore a year or two ago, in this oil company's livery.

Cooldrive ins't big enough to go alone, they need a partner , i.e two car team , or as a satellite team to main players.

And that comes from dealing with them, and knowing a person, who was sponsored by them

Kelly's are staying at two, Mundy's rec is of to BJR , that leaves a hole with Tickford. Supercars are not , ready to release RECs, Mr Boost can ***** and whinge, it's not happening in 2021 . so if Blanchards go alone , they will be at the las garage on pit lane . AS I said Cooldrive is not rich enough , unless all their suppliers pump money in .

I wish Blanchard luck with this, he just needs to get the right things in place. Sometimes beggers can't be choosers when it comes to sponsorship. Sometimes circumstances can get in the way and you can't always get what you need or want

Hopefully they can get the Mustang, but we'll see what they can do. If they can just keep their heads down as they have been anything is possible

However they are up against it as you say, they need more money coming in from somewhere. Cooldrive aren't the best to sponsor you, let's see if they can get more in.

Still we've got a good field of teams and drivers lined up for next season. We should have another great season. We have enough ingredients to make it so. Best of luck to all. Can't wait to see what Blanchard comes out with. He can find a way to get more money if he has the will, which I'm sure he has
