Congratulations to wolfhound on taking his second win of the season, after Hungary. It was an impressive set of results in a topsy-turvy Grand Prix, with three drivers predicted one place out of their finish position (good guesses in this round) - Sainz, Norris and Pérez. He actually predicted Sainz 3rd and was also the only person to get the top 3 in qualifying, including the McLaren driver, of course, as well as the only person to work out the Woking team would be Team of the Grand Prix too.

Analysis

Only two entrants predicted someone in their exact finish position - they were crmalcolm and Aysedasi, both for Pérez in 10th. This season, crmalcolm is placing the results of the previous round as predictions, so this means it's two 10th-place finishes in a row for the Racing Point driver.

crmalcolm therefore also predicted Gasly would win Driver of the Day and Driver of the Grand Prix for a second consecutive race (smellysocks also guessed this result for Driver of the Day).

Everybody but gert predicted Hamilton and Bottas to qualify 1st and 2nd respectively.

Unsurprisingly, nobody anticipated Alfa Romeo's first fastest pit stop of 2020, nor the first poll score of 10 for a Grand Prix this year.

Despite the seemingly unpredictable nature of the race, all seven entrants predicted either 7 or 8 drivers in the top 10 (curiously, gert did not place Verstappen in his top 10 - good predicting!). Of course, this meant several key drivers such as Gasly and Sainz scored people only minimal points.

In the championship, smellysocks closes to within a point of Born Racer Fan for 2nd. Winner wolfhound also makes some inroads on the top 3, while after a good round, Aysedasi maintains the distance to crmalcolm in the title battle due to their identical score.
