Marshals paying to camp?

Can anybody shed any light on the rumour I heard today from a marshal on post with me at Rockingham.
Marshals campsite at Donington is to be scrapped as they want the space, but we can camp in the hotel campsite (remember DTM) but we'll have to pay for the priveledge.

Cant say that I have heard that but i wouldnt put it past them. But I think numbers are low as it is this would only make things worse. As for next year I will do far less meetings at Donington as they take the p*ss to much as it is

For big meetings where they do need the space, the Marshals have been camping or at least some of them at the hotel campsite for the last couple of years, some of us are die hards and stick it out in the paddock etc until the last minute so We wouldn't put it past them to do it permantley, just watch out for the FIA that BRSCC are running in October there not even sure that donington will have enough room for the cars let alone us!!
