Silverstone Driving Experience Dilemma....
Hi all,
My girlfriend has given me a Christmas gift of a Silverstone Driving Experience (bless her!), but it gives me a choice of the following... Ferrari Driving Thrill, Lotus Driving Thrill, Aston Martin Driving Thrill, Rally Driving Thrill or, Single Seater Thrill I have done the Single Seater before, and would eagerly do it again ... however, I'm flummoxed as to which might be the best overall experience! Has anyone on these forums done any of these at Silvestone ... or maybe all of them?!?! If so, which would you recommend as the best experience? Your input would be very much appreciated! theUKdude |

I drove a Ferrari 360 and an Aston Martin DB9, among other cars, at a track day somewhere else last year.
TBH I was a bit disappointed with the Aston Martin, but the Ferrari was great. Paddle shifts, superb handling, great noise. Also, if your a similar size to me, you might struggle in the Lotus. |

I'd be seriously tempted to do the rally one, it might be good experience for regular/track driving.
I just wonder about the 'Thrill' aspect, do they teach you anything or do you just drive around? Are you allowed to slide it? |

Having spent many years in rally cars, go for the rallying, you will get one hell of a kick of going very fast and sideways through trees.

The Rally thrill is very good, but personally I'd go for the Ferrari.
