I guess we can safely say the elimination of the PC class is directly correlated with the reduction of FCYs. Not that we didn’t know that before.

A counter to that is that most of the drivers from that clas are still out there, some in even more powerful cars.

I have been blown away by the lack of cars even running off into the grass, which we have only seen maybe 5 or 6 times. Previous years seemed to have someone running off every few laps. And there are 50 cars, so there's still traffic.

The problem with the PC cars was, that they were faster in highspeed sections, but slower where mechanical grip is needed. This caused so many troubles with overtaking PC<->GTLM.

Every time I check timing and scoring it looks as though the core p2 is about .5 to 1 second quicker each lap than the top 2. He's not that far from second, and who knows what might still happen.

This has definitely not felt like a Daytona 24h, this race has had a vibe a lot more like a fast and relatively clear Le Mans.

Depends on what you're considering. Yes, there's been less overtaking and banging into each other than the last few 24s but the story lines have certainly been interesting, outside of Ford cheating , but that's interesting to some!
