#912 dropped 3 positions. Didn't catch it on the footage.

That's an Acura in the tyres...
Edit - It's the #6. Another one in the big book of "Montoya Has Not Quite Got To Grips With Prototypes Yet". |

More than one hour without yellow. That was fine endurance.

Looking at the tyre marks, I'm betting contact was involved.
Edit: I was completely wrong. He didn't slow down for the chicane. |

If he didn't hit the wall, why did the rear wing fall off? Wing failure, suspension failure? Driver error?

Maybe there was a phantom jet dryer just ahead of Juan?
Edit - #25 not quite getting its work done in time to keep on the lead lap. |

BMW were far too casual during that nose change. And the cars over the pit lane exit line, so income penalty.

JPM hit the wall after all? They're re-arranging the tires right now.

It's hard to focus on the race while I am at work ... 10/10ths quips help keep things comprehensible.
I have to think mechanical, not Montoya .... glad he hit tires. |

drive-though for 25 and 73 (pit lane speed). Not a nice last 20 minutes for the 25.

Why is the #54 a lap back already? Was there a problem or was that down to Bennett not keeping up in the opening stint?

Bennett lost approx 1 lap in the first tint. He was almost a lap down. Then the pit stop happened and a lap or so later he was a lap down. Then they did a second stop (missed by TV/commentators) very shortly afterwards and put Dumas in, and were 2 laps down. The FCY gave them 1 lap back.
