Its not very good is it that with only a few days to go, neither Brands Hatch nor the organising club can get an entry list onto the internet? Im not going to go if I dont know what/who is racing so they dont exactly help themselves do they?!

We usually always have the entry list ready for each round however for some unknown reason we as a club do not have the entry list from the BARC and so cannot publish the list..........however by word of mouth I know there will be some fantastic cars racing this weekend and I can't wait!

Really good weekend, some fantastic racing and a very friendly atmosphere in the paddock, looking forward to getting back out there.Well done to Rod Birley on his win in the Classic Thunder race good to watch with Joss, Neil and Rod being very close for a lot of the race.

When are you going to be back out Lee?

The racing was close at the front but the grids were a bit thin (not just Classic Thunder but a few of the others were light on numbers too). Where is everyone?

Hope to be out at the next Classic Thunder round at Mallory with more power. Most championships seem to be suffering especially the modified ones like CT and DMN.A sign of people worrying about finance?

Very true Lee.
I have I Miglia that I desperately want to get built but no money to do it.
In fact i'm not sure i will even see the season out if this lack of power thing turns out to be the engine.

Great weekend all round - I think I even saw an overtaking move in one of the Formula Renault races!

Nice to see Rod win but even better to see him have to work a bit for it.

Good luck to the marshal's efforts with the Johny Cash Caterham tribute in the pit lane 'one piece at a time...'

Really enjoyed the race with Rod and Neil, good clean, close racing, shame Neil developed the missfire otherwise I think we would have raced to the flag Went a second faster than I have ever been before there and was a bit closer to Rod at his local, need more grunt....or another circuit with more corners......Thruxton, Cadwell or Rockingham maybe??? :'0)

the classic thuder race was fantastic to watch and I was urging you on joss from the banks so it was nice to see you take second...although as you say its a shame that the starion developed a missfire!

I aslo enjoyed this weekend due to the fact that it was my first ever race weekend and I managed to finish both races with respectable positions!

Congratulations to Rod on his win. Well deserved. Deepest commiserations to Neil.

Shame that a number of the entered cars failed at Donington the previous day, I reckon it could easily have been a five way fight for the lead.

Looks like all the sick cars from Brands/Donington/Snetterton/last year should all be back together for Mallory (mine included) so should be good.

It was a really good day, enjoyed blowing the cobwebs away for the first time in a long time. Thunder didn't have the numbers of earlier in the year, but you could name the absentees so a blip rather than a trend.

Whatever they were all proper cars anyway, and that has value.

Here's footage from a lowlier position on the grid; Joss just about in view, if you squint hard.
