Yep, branded as Italya Sports. They even had the (red!) Calsonic livery at the time. They ended up with the R89C before they scaled back to domestic racing and eventually switched brands to Toyota.

So it seems that DTM wants to introduce a hybrid powertrain by 2022. How does that align with Class One if Super GT doesn’t follow suit? Is that the end or will we have another Class One+ type regulation?

I would imagine it's just a renaming, they've used the Gazoo brand for the LMP1 effort for a couple of years now.
