does anyone know if there is any rallycross at Pembrey these days. There looks to be the remains of a rallycross track...

Rallycross hasn't been held at Pembrey for a few years now, the championship used to go there - I'm not sure why it stopped visiting.

I would have thought that with the 2 rallycross championships running now (MSA and Clubmans) there would be an opportunity for it to return (assuming that the cicuit owners would be interested).

The track is quite nice but the loose was very rough which is why i think they stopped using it. The tarmac parts are excellent but viewing is quite resticted. The facilities are good comparred to Lydden and Blighton as they have a club house and nice paddock.

beefy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Having received marshalling forms through, I noticed that there weren't any events this year. A shame, as they were usually good fun.

Problem with this place was twofold. THe Europeans raced there in the nineties and slated the place, quite rightly too as it was shocking. And the loos does cut up terribly, causing a lot of damage, like Croft used to before they sorte it out.
Also it is bloody miles away and a hell of a place to get to.
Despite that, the sight of the top guys pulling 120+mph into the hairpin is something to behold

Was just wondering as I am at uni in swansea and have not yet seen a rallycross race

Will be going down on my birthday to watch the Trucks though We both want to see how they manage that hairpin too. The super touring cars are awesome into it so the rallycross boys must be even better with a bit of the panic handle thrown in
