PLEASE!!!...I want Austria to be a Williams victory
All this Ferrari Domination is making me feel nauseous.
Ralf and JPM were both fast there last year so hopefully they'll be able to up their game and challenge Ferrari, if they don't, who will?. |

Go SAUBER!!
Nick to take a first ever victory, followed by Massa to make a historic one-two for the Swiss team. I'm still celebrating the BRILLIANT 4th place by NICK HEIDFELD!!! |

i know what you mean raoul, after his breakdown this morning and then rubens n the instillation lap i was convinced that tgf's car would go wrong...but as tgf himself said in the press conference....it always seems to happen to rubens! (or to tgf when it's not so important!)

Voodoo? Nah.... Sabotage! Rewire Ross Braun's telemetry controls so Michael's engine blows up when Reuben's is supposed to!
Or just vandalism, chuck tennis balls at Michael's airbox during the race. |

I think Austria would certainly be a more competitive race than Spain and Imola turned out to be. BMW Williams have not indicated whether they will have any new parts for Austria so that is a bit of a question mark.
Nevertheless, I think Austria can at least make for a more exciting race and if Michelin get their act together then Ralf will have a great shot at another win which is badly required to liven up the championship. Go for it Ralf ! |

I think "presure" is what dominates Ralf...
Did you see his move when Juan Pablo was chasing him ?... Plain and simple, you canĀ“t be a WDC that way. |

You're right. You can be a WDC though if you repeatedly finish 40 seconds behind the leader......

2002 World Champion - Michael Schumacher
I am sorry. It's all over. Quote me if you like. I'll be the first to cheer Williams over the line, being a Montoya (and Heidfeld, DC, Trulli) fan, but, in the overall scheme off things...2002 is painted red. |

Williams will have to wait until Canada, in my opinion. The F2002 is one of the best F1 cars ever, and guess what I think of the number 1 Ferrari driver?.. one of the best ever. There is a whole other race going on behind the FerrSchumi demonstration - surely we can take some pleasure from watching that? The Driver's championship was over in Interlagos - but the Constructor's is actually very close.

If there will be a non-Ferrari WDC this year - it would easily be Ralf. But thats all providing Williams, Michelin and to a lesser extent BMW - get their act together. He'll still be 2nd in the championship even if MS walks away with it. He'll easily beat Montoya. Though, he's obviously more keen to win the title but thats going to be difficult unless Wiliams can produce a magical performance step up. |

Not only have Ferrari designed the best package, they have the distinct advantage of an almost exclusive relationship with Bridgestone, who apparently have a facility set up inside the Ferrari factory. Although they would deny any favoritism, you can bet that this car was designed as much around the tires as anything else. They are currently .7 to 1 sec per lap quicker in race trim than anyone else whenever MS decides to turn up the wick.( I would include Rubens, but he hasn't had any opportunities for wick turning this year!). That is a lot of time to make up in F1, thats why Rubens difficulties will be the only thing that keeps Ferrari from the double this year.
Although I thought I remember James Allen saying that Williams had improvements, but they really wouldn't show up in performance at Barcelona. We can only hope they find something soon, or we'll be stuck with the Renault/McLaren/Sauber battle. But that's been good so far. |

Allen usually doesent know what he's talking about. Williams made no mention of any steps for Spain and they are pretty quiet on Austria as well. Time will tell. Maybe Patrick should roll up his sleeves and spend more time at the factory.
