That's very interesting, I sure would like to know a little bit more on Czechoslovakian touring car racing. Apart from the obvious ETCC races on my site, there are three more races, I don't know if you found them:

Thanks Planty.

The entry list link in the other thread, how come BMW M1's and De Thomaso's were ranged against 130RS's, and Golf's etc

I'm assuming that if this was the 'touring car' series it was fairly open in interpretation?

I believe that this race was not the par of Czechoslovakian touring car championship. It was just non championship event.

http://www.racingsportscars.com/phot...988-06-05.html

I just wanted to draft out what cars might have been there (forget bout Austrian/Rakousko/ and whatever non touring car entries)..if you see me

Right, I see, thought it was weird line up! Looked a bit more like a UK North West Sports/Saloon entry!

Yes, let's see what we can come up with, always interested in touring car history around the world!

Apart from Antonin Charouz, there were quite a few other Czech drivers on the ETCC trail in the mid/late 80's- presumably some of these also appeared 'at home' from time to time between ETC races?

Some of the main Czech ETCC runners I can think of from that period

Milos Bychl, another Corolla runner, he later had an M3-

http://www.racingsportscars.com/etcc...-04-17-055.jpg
and also appeared in the variety of 325is,M3s and occasional Merc 190s entered by 'Racing Services International' in 1987. Was this a Czech outfit, as they usually seemed to feature quite a few Czech drivers? (Off-topic- were RSI the source of the John Maguire-run David Sears M3 that appeared at the end of the 1988 BTCC season?)

Zdenek Vojtech & Bretislav Enge- usually seen sharing a Hartge or MTZ 635, Vojtech later drove for the Carlsson Merc 190 team, and Enge a Linder 325i- both appeared for Racing Services International in '87

Oldrich Vanicek & Vlastimil Tomacek- shared an M3 in 1987/8

...and there were quite a few more, as well as the various local entries which turned out for the Brno ETCC round

Ah yes 'Deny' Vojtech and Bratislav Enge, both quick and very experienced campaigners by the mid to late 80's in 635's and M3's.
