The way I heard it was 'She wanted something hot and throbbing between her legs, so he bought her a motorbike.'

You know I still remember the first time I saw the girl I married. Our eyes met across the street, and something electric passed between us!

It was a milk float.

My trip out today was a Click and Collect at Tesco this evening. In the drizzle.

Hehehe mine was getting a phone call from my Doctor to tell me I have not had a flu shot yet.... he said he could do it on the day if I could get there, so, with sun was shining, gloves and mask donned, I was (legally, given our re-entry into full lockdown this week) out of the house like a shot (for a shot in the arm).

Iain, I will get the Surtees print to you as soon as matters permit.

I put in a bid For Mike Hawthorn, my idol, and to help out, offered to take them all so that MG was not stuck with them.

I will happily pass Sir Jackie on to a deserving cause, time and convenience permitting.

Thanks to Morninggents..

Hope its dry for Iain at Brands today - passed near there yesterday en route to Tonbridge Wells to trailer a Porsche 911 Carrera to its new owner, on behalf of one of my Alfa Club members - and on the return leg of a near 600 mile round trip some of the downpours were in the "up periscope" category.

Clocked up a first in the journey, though. Traversed the M25 southern loop from the M40 to M26 without coming to a stop once, in either direction. Actually, come to think of it, didn't have one forced stop for traffic reasons at any time in the 10+ hours of driving......we're certainly not back to "normal" Long may it last

Quite agree. Although the roads are busier than they were at the height of lockdown, cycling is still much more enjoyable than it was before.

...that's prompted me to check my mileage. My car had an MOT on the 10th December and since then I've done 1498 miles in it. Since Jan 1st I've done 2556 miles on the bike.

...and it's all thanks to Delta who told me I should start doing some exercise when I retired - long may the quieter roads continue!
