Walshy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
MST at Anglesey - 4th Dec

Morning all.

Just to let everyone know, who may not be aware.

Apparently, if you have the "Chronic" transponder (the orange one) and are booked in for Anglesey, then you may not be able to use it.

In a Thread dedicated to this in http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...97#post1470197 it states they cannot be used after November this year. If that is the case, with this meeting being in December, do you need to change it?

I have had to plumb for the new one as I have the Chronic, but they are happy to bring my replacement to Anglesey at least helping me avoid the heftly postage charge on these.

Some of you might want to contact them and do the same.......

I spoke to mst as I had one and was of course planning to do the WHT they said the stay of execusion had been move to 31/12 but worth checking with them as this was a couple of months ago did they give you an exchange discount too Walshy?

£158 for the replacment, but I have to give them a full working Chronic back in exchange. I did ask why they wanted the old one back if it's redundant, to which I got a sketchy reply.

I suppose there is a market for them in another part of the world.......

youngoldy has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Is Anglesey still having its revamp or is that not happening now?

Fear not. This is extracted from an email sent to me - some weeks ago - by my Chief MST Timekeeper for this weekend

Yes, we shall be using transponders and to avoid any confusion we shall be using a system which will be compatible with both AMB and Chronit transponders.
Just as a minor point of interest, you drivers are very poor at completing race entry forms properly [all classes, not just FFs']
About a 40% put their transponder number on the form
About 10% note the form something like "it's on the car, I don't know it", or "can I borrow one on the day?"
The other 50% don't bother and just leave it blank

I thought you had finished for the season. Oh silly me, that was last night's conversation wasn't it?
Any late entries out there to take up the last couple of spaces? Medina probably have a car available. I know where a Van Diemen RF82 is waiting to be the subject of a cheap deal etc.

Nope - potential customers of ray only

Plus someone else is already driving it so don't have a huge amount of track time as it is
