Just amazing how things changed since 2011!!!!

I saw a onboard lap with the Peugeot 908 in 2011 and compared to the 2015 Porsche 919 and the acceleration of both cars are so diferent because of the hybrid "kick"... unbelievable stuff:

Kolles has brought up the current LMP1, as well as the old Lola-Judd LMP2 for Monza testing!

Even if the chassis is near obsolete soon, it would be fun to have a team running both LMP1 and LMP2 cars simultaneously, we haven't had that for a while. Though it's interesting that it's the B12/80 here, not T128 which would've had more in common with the CLM

it would still be eligible for the AsLMS for a couple years. Maybe they wanted to make sure it still runs and give a customer program a shot over there.

Or some interested party involved in that new UK series accepting old LMP2s wants to buy the chassis and it is now being shakedowned. Would make more sense than with real ACO series given that there will be billion more sensible and modern options for grandfathered P2s, than old Lola. It's fine for more club-ish environment

Either that, or they can approximate some setup parameters on the Lola and give the drivers more seat time in parallel? Or doing brief driver evaluations for later in the season? All depends on who was actually driving the old Lola.

That can only still be the sprint aero.....

Btw, only now I realised the position of the exhaust exit(the same position as on Ford GT, Oreca P2......). Strange, I thought this rule was the same for all P1s. If it is, then I wonder why LMP1-Hs don't do the same thing as putting it there might help sealing the underbody more.

Well at least it could be in the "old" LMP2 spec and with bigger restrictors

Though even in current specs, it would likely outperform the CLM in 24 hour race through to reliability, assuming it was run competently

The exhaust exit has to be visible from the side or from above the car. This is to prevent teams running blown diffusers.
