Tommy Archer on Windbag Tonight

Tommy Archer of 3R Rcing (Speed World Challenge Viper) will be on with Dave the Pain on Wind Tunnel tonight, 10:00 p.m. on Speed Channel. Tune in and give Speed World Challenge and Tommy a big boost on the channel that will barely admit their own sponsored series exists.

I can't belive i listened to 50 minutes of Nascrap talk for a 5 minute interview with Tommy Archer...
Anyways hope he gets a win even with the absurd weight addition on the CC Viper's. Fantsatic looking car! To bad they arn't allowed in the Rolex or ALMS series...

My sentiment exactly -- I had my set on "mute" for nearly the whole program! What a deceptive advertisement -- although I don't blame Tommy or SWC, and for the few minutes they gave him, he did an excellent job. Good luck to him at RA and for the balance of the year! He's a real gentleman.

Well, am I the only who was estatic to hear the roots of Jeff Gordon's career? It was actually alot more interesting than the phone call with Archer, but I'm also a big Gordon fan.

Him and 50 million Americans, I'd say.

Liz, your insulting attitude towards anythign you don't personally like is extremely grating. Speed concentrate on NASCAR because it's what the bulk of their audience enjoy; sad but true.

I also was disappointed not to hear more from Archer, but I was aware of Gordon's background from following him in USAC when he lived in Pittsboro and raced in USAC....

I don't care whether you like NASCAR or not (and I don't)....Jeff Gordon has been fast in everything he has chosen to drive...

The guy has talent....whether others want to admit it or not...

I'm from here and I don't even turn on Speed anymore since they went to predominantly coverage of 'bubba racin'

I'd rather watch a test pattern than low brow tin tops

This is not a thread about NA$CAR. This was a thread about Tommy Archer.

There is a forum for NA$CAR and those who prefer it ought to go there.

Oh Liz, I'm sorry, I figured this thread was about that particular episode. My bad. Hate to correct you, but the show is actually called "Windtunnel."

I was referring to Despain there.

Did you read the title of the thread? TOMMY ARCHER was specifically mentioned. Not "JEFF GORDON'S STEPFATHER.".
