Pandemonium has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
If ESM knew what to do they would ran in the WEC. They would find a challange among their equals there. Not this TUSCC sillyness. Amercia has many good things. Racing is not one of them. If Americans weren´t so ridiculously patriotic they would support international series and be glad that at least they have a round in their country. This is just silly.

Nothing against them, but esm isn't a very good team.i don't get why you are getting all wrapped up about this when esm has always been a back marker wether in gt or p2.last year they challenged level 5 once or twice but that was it. Again this is the team that the strongest car didn't finish here and the other finished behind gt overall last year.mmpr and level 5 also oak are much better teams and the Nissan is the better engine.since esm has been around I always wanted to see JVO paired with Cosmo that would of been a real winner.if esm moves to wec the would be killed by all the nissans in the hpd.but still glad to see JVO get the pole.....

Do we really know how much more power they were given?just because they have more power doesn't necessarily mean they are going to be any quicker.could cause stronger traction control slowing them a it out of corners now.but yes the tires are not the best out there, but hey NASCAR can just force them to run cup car good years.

time to get over this and stop repeating the same garbage,if you don't like it stop watching.once I stop liking this I will stop watching.wec is pretty good so far and so are f1 and Indy, TUSCAR still has lots to improve but I still love sportscars.....

Well I'm off to the track, hope you guys find a way to enjoy the race.i know I will it's been a great week end!

Yeah sure 'our' car might win, but it won because IMSA gave them a favorable BoP boost. That still stinks to me.
That's how most of the GT3 & GTE wins around the world are decided from race to race. It's no different.

Besides DP wouldn't have ever been able to go faster if it wasn't for BoPping them above P2 performance levels, so it's not even disgrace.

I still think this past week's BoP adjustment was premature. They had 6 Ps qualifying times (NOT counting erratic ESM, who won there last year) and 8 Ps (counting ESM) fastest laps at Long Beach within .75 seconds. Now they have spread the top 8 over 1.5 seconds. Laguna Seca plays to P2 strengths; DPs have always been bog slow there.

Anyone want to bet if Ganassi was running ESM's cars, they would be dialing BoP the other direction?

It's not about lap times. It is about the complete inability for the P2 cars to race. The P2 cars can brake later than DPs, but the DPs accelerate much faster and have a higher top speed. It doesn't matter how late a P2 can brake when the DPs just walk away.

Yes, the torque advantage of the DPs is what is at issue. They can accelerate much faster out of slower corners and when they get balked by traffic. Whereas the LMP based cars need to keep momentum up which often gets interrupted in traffic.

And IMSA just gave two middle-fingers to their fans by dropping the stream (just now) and telling people to watch it on FS1. It was going perfectly....

It's the TUSC completest in me that's making me watch this race.

Hopefully it will be a good Pro-Am rumble.

I was about to ask about timing ... TUSC is once again trying its best to provide an unpleasant fan experience.

Just a great idea by IMSA to run that colour system.

If WEC can learn something from TUSC, then it is the "behind next pos / behind next in class" information on the live timing page.

Yep very true. But that's about it.

Meanwhile all hell breaks loose during the break.

Thank god no commercials on the stream. I suppose their target audience are americans, but I wonder how many are gonna bother to watch this with all the ad breaks.
