fatbloke should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
At last, Colin McRae gets to win another event - with, fellow Brit, Richard Burns in second place. Good on them both. Who'd have thought five years ago that we'd have not one but two drivers up at the front of the field ?

It's great that McRae won. Even better was the close finish. Best of all was that Makkinen lost more ground in the title chase. 'Ol Freddy Loix has yet to pull his finger out though!

I was beginning to wonder if McRae was ever going to get over the pressure of having a fast teammate. It now seems he has. Congrats to McRae and the Ford team for an excellent performance.

What seems to be the deal with the Ford team? Are they really outclassed that much by the Subaru and Mitsubishi or are Burns and Makkinen just better drivers?
