Thanks for the info CMK on AM and Michelin in 2005, I was not aware of that and am never surprised when when a Dave Richards car runs on Pirelli, he has a very long history with them.
There is no doubt at all that the Dunlop and Pirelli are just plain slower |

AF Corse = Amato Ferrari Racing.
Amato Ferrari is the team owner. AFAIK he is no relation to Enzo Ferrari's family. |

Heard some rumours in the FIA-GT paddock that the two AF Corse F430 are to be sold after the end of the season.

i know 25 f430 gtc chassis... so enough cars are available. The sevond part of the rumour is: AF corse quits racing like they did after theier 2004 Maserato job was done.

Shame, where will Mr Todt (or whoever does it next year) place Salo and Melo? If Porsche do not push the new 997 and Ferrari are satisfied with this seasons domination of FIA that, allied to the new sprint format could kill FIA GT unless Pratt and Miller come over, .....well, er, no, that is not what Doug Fehan wants is it, he said:
If we can’t find a forum to race here that is consistent with our mission statement, which is to showcase the durability, reliability and performance of the Corvette, we need to go somewhere where we can,” outlined Doug Fehan. Sprint races don't fit that mission statement so I guess he means either LMS or Super GT SRO may have problems getting enough entries to pay the track fees next year |
