Should be an interesting weekend. Can't wait to see how Franck goes, and young Mike seems to like the place. Hard to look past Dixon as ever though.

I seriously think this weekend a Penske car will be the car to be in...

I mean that Power is the wildcard in every respect. He has the capability and the equipment to potentially win every race he enters. He isn't working under the limitations of racing to collect points: racing to win races is his sole motivation. All the point he collects as a result skews the outcome for all the contenders in the championship.
Then, there's the aspect of team results: Power has proven himself to be quite the team player, and likely would follow orders for the benefit of a fellow Penske driver. Like running as wingman for Briscoe to detract from Dixon's point total, either as a direct result of his competitive speed, or as a result of the voice he hears in his headset. "Dixon is P3, see if you can hold him up a bit so Ryan can check out". So I think Power is the wildcard. Pity, he should be racing for the championship |

And one other point, literally: Let's project that in one of the upcominng events, Briscoe doesn't have the speed to qualify P1. There's a juicy point sitting on the table for Dixon of Franchitti to grab. So Power gets strapped in, and The Captain walks over and says..."Go get us that point".
Could that be another factor in the final championship results: Will has already grabbed two of those juicy points this season. Unless Briscoe is qualified P1, that makes one more reason for Power to turn up the wick. |

Oh yeah, for those of us on Rogers, the free-preview of TSN2 is over.
Why is it that they don't run the proper final corner? Would it not be as good a passing zone in IndyCars and the cement walls would cause too much harm? Chris |
