Sebastien Loeb Racing unveiled their liveries. It's assumed one team will be called SLR Volkswagen and the other - SLR VW Motorsport. The level of ridiculousness has risen by 200%.

You get the same sort of thing in WRC. Volkswagen ran Volkswagen Motorsport, and Volkswagen Motorsport II there.

I have to say this is really a joke ahahahah

Anyway, it seems that also Romeo Ferraris showed the liveries of their Alfas ...

And for me, this is another anonimous livery for the Giulietta

The car has enjoyed a weight reduction and aerodinamic improvements. It seems that also the price has been raised to 128.000€ just below the limit cost.

Agree on the team name front. Bit pointless having the 2 car rule if teams can do that!

I quite like the Alfa livery, though the front aero looks terrible,

Agree, but still it's better then 'must-include-sponsor-name' like Team Shredded Wheat Racing with Gallagher or Cataclean Racing with Ciceley Motorsport. Like I can't read what's written on car

Agree. It looked much better with that black bottom part during BoP test

Also how is it possible that there are only 2 red Alfa's in all TCR championships?
That was that raced in PWC and Unicorse one in FIA CEZ

When you're talking about a racing series organized by Eurosport Events, I do have to expect this kind of ridiculousness. We get used to it in the WTCC.

Also last year it was ridiculous to have 3 different point system for each race and indeed this year some smart person amended this rule and they made one single point system for all three races.

This year we all think it's ridiculous that the same time has to divide in 2 and rename to avoid the rule of 2 cars per team but I'm sure that for the season 2020 there will be rule that a team can have 2 or 4 cars.

Well no, but if you look at the BOP Peugeot got -10kg in comparision with the Subaru, so for the BOP Peugeot should be less competitive than the WRX effectively

The 308 TCR is not in WTCR this year but with this BOP I expect it will be competitive in TCR Europe at least...

They are. Based on total weight. You can see that on the right.

The chart doesn't factor in aero efficiency, and the like

Hyundai is already largely unhappy with the BOP. Tarquini said that in the end-part of last season a good balance was found between the cars. Now it seems that they have changed it a bit and Hyundai is disadvantage...

He is right!! first of all it has no sense to have a such a different component to adjust (RIDE HEIGHT, COMPENSATION WEIGHT, BOP WEIGHT and POWER)!! Secondly why they can't do the first 2 rounds with all cars in the same configuration and then eventually penalize some model (always considering that in some case the difference of performance depend by the skills and talent of a driver)

Is there someone who understand/know why in the Balance of Performance measures every models must have +60kg as compensation weight? what is the meaning? why every car must have +60kg?

Have somebody from Hyundai already expressed his frustration?

Last year Hyundais were nowhere in Barcelona and a week later fully dominated Marrakech weekend.
Test results mean nothing, to be honest

It's not a problem emerged after the testing results. They are not happy about the new BOP for the start of 2019 season
