Fans Competition - Round 1 - Australia
Well, here we are again guys and girls, the fans comp is back.
So, lets get the boring bit out of the way rules
Here endeth the lesson So, questions time... 1 Will Mark Webber out-qualify Nick Hiedfeld for the Race? (qualifying proper- not pre-qualifying) 2 Will this years pole time for the race be slower, and if so, by how much to the nearest (full) second (only 1 point for this answer) 3 Will a Bridgestone or Michelin shod car win the race? 4 Will Jacques Villeneuve finish ahead of his team mate in the race (according to the FIA classifications should neither finish) 5 How many points will the Renault cars score between them? 6 How many cars will remain unlapped by the leader come race end? 7 Which team will be classified 3rd in the WCC following the finish of the race? 8 1st retirement 9 2nd retirement 10 3rd retirement Answering format should be just answers, not the questions copied and pasted follwed by your answers! Have fun Last edited by Mr V; 21 Feb 2005 at 19:46. |

Yes, I did read it carefully - you said the "pole lap" - I'm not clear as to what we're defining as that.

Hmmm, well, only 1 driver can set pole for the race, so, is it going to be slower than Michaels pole time in 2004 of 1m 24.408 seconds? If anyone thinks it will be slower, how much slower? btw, 90 seconds slower? my Granny could walk a lap faster than that Last edited by Mr V; 21 Feb 2005 at 20:31. |

But my point is that pole position will be an aggregate of two laps, so the pole time is going to be around 2:50s.

OK - thanks for the clarification. I assume you mean the fastest time in the Saturday session, rather than the time set on Saturday by the driver who ends up on pole? I'll say the time will be slower, but only by 0.5s, bearing in mind the session will run on low fuel. |
