RIKB should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
On the spur of the moment, I decided to go to Brands Hatch today and watch the BRSCC premier package.

FPA Euro's were good fun, the TVR's were everything you could wish for! And the Caterham superlights were just plain mad!

As for the rest of the package, I'm afraid the Porsche races just left me cold, a friend of mine is right when he describes them as overpriced banger racing! Mighty Mini's? fun but slow The classic GP race was watchable as was the AMOC intermarque race. With Win Percy on pole! The real surprise for me was the Proton Coupe Race, they sounded strangled but produced a good race with plenty of incident and overtaking.

On the whole it was £16 well spent (plus £3 for the programme )

Uh oh, don't let Graham hear that
I am glad that the series isn't a bad day out, with The Power Tour being dubbed a non-starter, I am glad that the whole Package racing thing isn't a complete failure
Oh yeah, Proton Coupes are good fun to watch, I always thought that they were a bit to quiet though.

Aha! Porsche racing last weekend. Overpriced banger racing?

Does this give the story of the TOTALLY smashed metallic blue Porsche 911 with number 50 painted on the doors that I saw being freighted on the M40 on Monday?

Anyone know whose that was?

I believe it was driven by a guy called Roger Farson, racing in class 2 of the Porsche classic race.

Thanks RIK, by the look of things, Mr Farson is going to have a VERY big shopping list at Autofarm Porsche before his next race.

From rubbernecking as I passed the transporter, I don't think there was a straight panel anywhere forward of the windscreen.

As I passed it on Monday lunchtime, I was wondering if the team had had a lousy Sunday of racing, or whether it was an even lousier Bank Holiday Monday practice session.

Definition of rotten luck? The guy last year who demolished an Aston Martin DB5 in practice at Silverstone, only to see the race meeting he was trying to qualify for cancelled an hour later due to bad weather.
