April 23rd
What is happening at Siverstone?. This meeting,which included the Golden Helmet FF1600 race seems to have been cancelled and the Golden Helmet race will be run at Kirkistown in May.

rbs - That is correct.The BRDC have cancelled their Silverstone meeting on April 23rd.
The BRDC Golden Helmet will take place at Kirkistown on May 27th at a 500MRCI meeting that will have other FF1600 races at it. The BRDC Historic Sportscar Championship race planned for 23.04.2006 will not be rescheduled - but that leaves a very healthy 11 round series for the historic racers. A FF1600 race will take place by kind agreement with the Peterborough Motor Club, and the Chris Mudge Memorial Trophy will have prizes open for competitors to win free entries to the Walter Hayes Trophy in November.
