Flag Point 7 at Hidden Valley in Darwin.



Being in the northern end of the country it tends to get rather hot and when it rains it pours

It's a two storey set up with the observers on the top level for a better view of the action and the flaggies on the lower level so the drivers/riders can see them better.

The photo was taken at the Australian Superbike Championship round held there last weekend where the temperature never dropped below 26 degrees Celcius (at night) and the humidity was permanently in the high 90% range all the time

At least I had an air conditioned Fire/Rescue ute to sit in all day
