Honda joins Nascar?

Is it correct that Honda works on a Nascar project? I searched on www.nascar.com but could not find anything.

actually, after toyota- Nissan and the Titan Trruck are being courted by NASCAR to join, and then see if it goes further, Honda has stated it had no interest of joining the Trucks or the Cup series as of Now or foreseeable future, (WindTunnel with Dave Despain)
Try www.Jayski.com for rumors anyway...The Nascar Goody's dash series is a smaller regional oval series with Tubeframe V6 engined cars of the Compact body shell (toyota celica, mercury cougar, and pontiac sunfire, chevy cavalier of sorts but no Honda there either.)
Keep searching, but I don't think now is the right time for honda- they don't even make a V8 yet, much less pushrods, so development would be 3 years away if they started today, and they decided not to so- i imagine if so after the trucks perhaps the honda Accord in busch series, then to cup in 2007-2010 but this is pure imagination no rumor or truth behind this idea.
