All the SBR cars will show speed but will not be there at the end because of tyre wear. Top 5 maybe.

If 5 or 6 win it I'll eat my jocks.

JBR always step up at Bathurst but they were seriously bloody nowhere at PI. A were GRM, the perennial enduro overachievers.

Hey guys, just bought myself a new camera so I'll be posting 3D photos from the event as an experiment. I'll be taking some shots at Hell Corner, Brock Skyline, Esses, Forrest Elbow and Caltex Chase.

Yeah, the camera is a FujiFilm W3. Most likely I'll be posting the photos as anaglyph, (red-blue glasses) since newer forms of 3D computer carrying tech are still quite new and pricey. I'll be uploading some 3D footage on YouTube aswell. Most likely some footage from top of the mountain.

I think it means , sell your house and put your money on lowndes

i think it also means 4 seasons in one day, which is not abnormal at Bathurst

and monday will be fine

For all the kiwi's. TV3 will be on at 9:30 AM Sunday. Seems as though there coverage has gone to crap.

No it's that usually they show qual, and the top ten shootout on Saturday. Seems as though this year they're not. That's my problem.

do you reckon he is the only one? might have to whack some lira into research, maybe lyons?

also for anyone who knows, the texaco sierras, Neil suggested on v8 xtra (awesome footage if you missed it) that it was fuel irregularity issue that got them disqualified. But from memory it was wheel arches, which wiki supports, anyone els got any thoughts/memories off it

That was a discussion point during the weekend, causing Mike Raymond to utter the classic line "Who put the sauce on the Eggenburgers".

I don't believe it was ever proven, but I bet it was true

it was definately a discusion point, they had footage from 87 on v8 xtra and it was part of the commentary, but as you said, maybe it was never proven

further research suggest Percat Blanchard and Waters are the rookies in this years race

edited as i relised lyons did the race in 2006 in the 2nd triple 8 car

The Texaco Sierra was dsq for wheel arch extension irregularities. Too big & mounted too high on the guard. The fuel cocktail was a bit of an on screen over reaction by Mr Crompton, the samples cleared later by an independant testing lab.
