Ie the only GT300s that actually are GT300 but yes I agree on that front. I hate GT3, and if nothing else wish they were separated from JAF-GT300 as separate third class.

DTM-GT500 looks like crap compared to previous generations and is greatly more spec which is never desirable, but the hybrid stuff + multi tires + marvelous power output makes up for it.

We all do hopefully with you in the booth again

I wonder if Motors TV would ever be willing to take Super GT back to their programming (assuming dropping it was from their end in the first place?)

Agreed to that! Let's hope that in the future, they don't downsize their engines to a 2-cylinder one, but rather open up a little bit.

I hope they open up the development of the cars. If things are steady enough in the cost department they should move forward with areas they can open up the rules on. They already have the joker.

Masataka Bandoh (#19) says silly season rumours that,
-A GT500 team will disappear. But other team will take the place.
-Driver lineup of Lexus will be reshuffled except team Bandoh (#19).
-Lexus will support team Bandoh more than this year next season.
-Team SAMURAI/Tsuchiya engineering (#25) will make a GT300 return.
-Bandoh (#19) and Tom's (#37) will test at Sepang on December (Driver won't change).
-Kondoh (#24) will test at Suzuka on Nov 27.

What about the wider wings used at Fuji, Autopolis and Sugo?

it looked better than the DTM style wing, but it still doesnt make up for the loss of the super aggressive low-down stance the old cars had

Well, that's not surprising considering the rumors that Dome Racing Team will focus on making tubs instead of competing in GT500 class.

Excuse me, You mean A GT500 team will disappear is Dome (#18)??? Then the other team will take place to Dome racing Team is GT300 team(maybe only)

For Team SAMURAI (#25), my opinion is they will use Lexus RC F GT3 or Toyota 86 MC

If the rumors are true, then Dome Racing Team won't be competing in the GT500 class.

For Team SAMURAI/Tsuchiya, I think they'll most likely use the latter car unless Keiichi Tsuchiya's team are funded by Toyota/Lexus.

Is Rossiter/Nakajima likely to be split? They've both done brilliantly this season, but it can't be easy to double/triple-shift and with Quintarelli seemingly sticking to GT500 perhaps Toyota want someone to concentrate solely on SGT?

@MagVanisher

But I also not hoped that Dome Racing Team will withdraw from SUPER GT500.
In my opinion, Dome Racing Team withdrawn from GT500 team because the chassis of the Honda NSX Concept GT is more expensive than the other GT500 machine (e.g Nissan GT-R GT500 and Lexus RC F GT500) and the cockpit design is more complicated than the other GT500 machine as well due to the midship layout of DTM regulation style, BOP and the air cooling system of the machine.

But in my opinion, Team SAMURAI will used Toyota or Lexus before in GT500 since 2000.

*if* a GT300 team were to step up to replace Dome, i suppose Mugen would be a good fit...GT500 championship winner in 2000 with the Castrol NSX, and championship winners in both GT300 and Super Formula last year...

Oh damn if this comes about this'll be something special. Maybe we might see a BMW factory driver paired with a Japanese driver.

Yes that's been the case this year but I'm not convinced that Jorg Muller is a shoe in for that seat though. I'm guessing BMW would prefer a younger driver-maybe from the DTM or one of their GT drivers. Maxime Martin or Farfus maybe?

If BMW run there DTM car in GT500, won't it need a restrictor break to make it competitive?
