Ralph Broad

It is with great sadness that I have just discovered that the great man passed away last weekend. I was hoping to meet him again at Portimao next month, the circuit being close to his home for many years. The photo is of Ralph, Vince Woodman and myself at the Algarve Festival last year. The Capri Vince has owned and raced since the 70s was built by Broadspeed, and Ralph was there as his guest.

I understand that some sort of tribute will be arranged at the Festival this year, so am delighted that will be racing the Escort there again as my own personal contribution.

R.I.P Ralph.

Very sad. I was very pleased to meet Ralph at Portimao last year, having been an admirer of his team and his cars in period.
RIP Ralph

dave vass should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ralph created a legendary racing team, and many legendary drivers must have felt very privileged to have raced for him; giving me hours of pleasure watching them!
RIP, Ralph Broad.
