Bunbury International Circuit-Western Australia
THE CIRCUIT
The plan is for the Circuit to host two international-standard motorsport events in 2005, with an increase to four major events per year over the next two or three years. Circuit Infomation: Location: 7km South East of Bunbury, Australia Course Length: 4000m Main Straight: 800m Width: 15m Direction: Clockwise Turns: 13 The new multi-purpose International Racing Circuit at Bunbury will incorporate; * An International Racing Circuit. * A Racing Driver Academy with international accreditation. * Corporate incentive days & hospitality facilities. * Driver training and education facilities. * Vehicle component testing. * Conferences & exhibitions. * Regional events & concerts. * Community based activities. * Motor sports officials' training academy. * A Rally Circuit and off road facilities. Does Anyone have any infomation about the events wich will be held there this year. Is there still the slightest cance of still having a round of the Formula Nippon Race and/or the JGTC (now Super GT) race?????? www.formulanippon.com.au-Formula Nippon Australia www.pimm.org- Perth International Motorsport Management Last edited by mabs_nsx; 12 Feb 2005 at 12:53. |

I am yet to see/hear anything that suggests otherwise
They did get council approval for the circuit around 6 months ago |

Maybe they should take a leaf out of another circuit about to be built, and get the financials in place before winding up the PR machine.

JDI: it will be very interesting, but for exactly the opposite reasons that Bunbury feels the need to wave the banner those involved with the circuit are keeping it low key.

Words are only words.
The Bu**sh*t stops when you get (to) the racetrack. Good Luck to PIMM. |
